Hello 
I’ve recently changed my phone to a Nokia N85, but whenever i upload videos from my computer to the phone, it says “unable to play either sound or video clip. trying to play partially” and the sound comes on, but not the actual footage.
so i was wondering why such an error occurs, and if there is any way for me to alter it if this kind of problem arises again.

The files im trying to upload are mpeg-4, yet it still doesnt work?

Try to check your Nokia N85’s Settings and your computer settings.
That usually means that the audio bitrate or video format is not supported on the phone. For those videos, you’ll have to convert them to play on the N85. Check the link for some free software (I personally use Free Zune Converter).
Video Formats:::RealVideo / MPEG-4 / 3GPP
n85 accepts the above video formats only other than this it won’t support for video formats like avi,mpg,
if you want to see this kind of video formats then try to install smart movie player or divx player in the phone…it supports avi…
