Whenever I send a message this “unlocked padlock” symbol appears at the top left next to the battery life. Does anyone know what this means? Because whenever this shows up, my signal bar goes from 4 to 0, the padlock symbol disappears, and after at least 30 minutes, I find my message unsent, still in the outbox. Anyone know?

This doesn’t seem to be a big problem. This may be because of the network signals. Just switch off the cell phone for 5 minutes and then switch on, this should work. This kind of problem is usually a network problem. If the things doesn’t work out the right way then just perform a format of your handset (make sure u keep a backup for contacts and other stuffs using PC suite) to format type the following key on the home screen:

confirm the message and perform format.
