i live in philippines..open line you cellphone at any cellphone service shop and buy a SIM.(smart,tnt,tm,addict mobile,globe or sun cellular only)
it depends on the configuration of your phone… my mom worked in japan and she brought home a phone from vodafone, she tried uding a different sim but it didn’t worked asked people at greenhills and technicians on how she can use her phone here… they say she can’t coz setting in jaoan is for a (i think) 4g network… and reconfiguration is a bit pricey so fhe just uses her phone for pictures and browsing…
but you can always ask… my mom’s phone is a different brand (siemens?) maybe it’ll work with your nokia
